CHALLENGE

Sonos revolutionized home audio by making surround sound accessible. Fast-forward a decade, and the now legacy brand needed to reaffirm its position as a disruptor and innovator in the space. 

SOLUTION

I helped Sonos cement its relevance with a new corporate narrative—aligning the brand’s latest product innovations with the its impact on culture, content, and society at large.

I PARTNERED WITH FUNDBOX TO SHOWCASE ITS market need TO investors.

CHALLENGE

Fundbox was on a mission to provide small businesses with the capital they needed to grow. But in a rapidly growing small business lending market, investors were struggling to understand what made them unique.

SOLUTION

I helped Fundbox showcase how others in the space were limiting their growth by focusing solely on B2C. Meanwhile, Fundbox was creating a solution that catered to the overlooked B2B space, with much higher growth potential.

i CREATED A narrative & Voice for mixo THAT makes SMALLER BETTER.

CHALLENGE

Mixo was bringing to market a new content sharing platform specifically for foodies. We needed to build a story around Mixo that was sticky enough to attract folks from bigger platforms.

SOLUTION

I built a brand narrative and voice that leaned into Mixo’s offering as a warm, intimate community that’s focused on food—differentiating it from bigger platforms that are for everyone and everything. We made Mixo all about sharing food from cook to cook, and kitchen to kitchen.

i supported ab inbev through a racial justice reckoning.

CHALLENGE

As Black Lives Matter protests demanded a response from brands, AB InBev was caught between the needs of employees, and conflicting internal priorities. They had to speak out fast, while navigating longer-term repercussions for the company. 

SOLUTION

I acted as a sounding board and synthesizer, working with the AB InBev team to quickly digest internal priorities across regions and leadership levels, as well as external demands. Then, I crafted internal communications that made sure the employees most in need of support felt seen, heard, and cared for.

CHALLENGE

The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) was constantly on call to speak out on complicated issues—from the climate crisis to the pandemic and racial justice. They needed bold language that reflected their values, while navigating stakeholder priorities. 

SOLUTION

Through high-profile events like COP, UNGA, and more, I partnered with the ELC comms team to craft speeches and statements that conveyed the company’s stance on the world’s most urgent issues. Together, we navigated the legal and ethical thorns that come with speaking out as a respected global company. 

We join the discussions at COP26 as a committed partner and collaborator. Driving change at scale requires radical collaboration across organizations and industries. We have to design holistic strategies to address these challenges.

i GOT PEPSICO STAKEHOLDERS EXCITED TO INVEST IN RECYCLING TECH.

CHALLENGE

PepsiCo was on a mission to increase the percentage of its packaging made from recycled plastic. With a shortage of rPET available on the market, they wanted to introduce new recycling technology to create their own supply. But they had to convince their own stakeholders to pay up for the new tech.

SOLUTION

I chatted to stakeholders across PepsiCo to learn about all the barriers to and benefits of selling in this new technology. Then, I created a series of pitch decks for the PepsiCo Sustainability team to present to high-level execs on the teams they needed to persuade. Result: the technology won buy-in across the board.

i teamed up with g-p to WIN SOME LAUGHS WITH their target AUDIENCE.

CHALLENGE

G-P was launching a suite of “global growth tech” tools to make life easier for HR and Business Dev pros. The hurdle? Their audience didn’t know what global growth tech actually was. Before going into sell mode, we needed to earn the attention and trust of these decision makers.

SOLUTION

I collaborated with G-P to create paid social content that showed these audiences G-P gets them, gets their job, and knows how to make their lives easier. We created content that spoke to common pain points faced by HR and Biz Dev leaders, winning them over by giving them something to laugh about.

i’m working with arise yoga to build community engagement

CHALLENGE

Arise Yoga has a successful network of yoga studios across NYC and the Bay Area. With the opening of their new location in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, they needed help with direct-response copy to drive membership, as well as ideas to build community engagement.

SOLUTION

I created a fresh, simplified email template for Arise—sharing studio’s personality, while putting offerings and actions front and center. I’m also working with the team to create a new networking offering to add value to studio membership and drive community engagement.
